October 2019: Executive Director of Portland State’s Homelessness Collaborative Speaks in Vancouver

Faith Partners for Housing invites everyone to a presentation on a recent study concerning homelessness. The speaker is Marisa Zapata, Executive Director, Homelessness Research & Action Collaborative, Portland State University. The date/time is Wednesday October 16, 2019 at 10:00am. The meeting place is the Parish Hall at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 400 S. Andresen Blvd, Vancouver. Ms. Zapata will share highlights of a study that estimates there were 38,000 people who experienced homelessness in Multnomah County in 2017 and discuss implications for building solutions.

Homelessness and Housing: Sun Apr 29 2018 2:30pm at Friends of the Carpenter

YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED to attend our 60 minute presentation to learn how people of faith are taking action to address homelessness and affordable housing issues in our community.  A question and answer dialog will follow.

We hope you can join us at the Friendship Center to hear more about what faith communities in Vancouver are doing and can do in the future to address the critical shortage of housing in our community.

Homeshare Work Session: Wed Mar 28 2018

A work session among representatives from interested faith communities and agencies to follow up after hearing about home sharing at our last meeting.  Agenda: debrief, figure out next steps/next questions, discuss possibilities for a home share program in Vancouver/Clark Co.

The meeting will be 10 AM to noon on Wednesday March 28 at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 8310 MacArthur Blvd, Vancouver.
